Every year I try to incorporate what the kids are into at that time for a birthday theme. This year we decided to do a joint party and decided to go with the Super Hero theme. It was a lot of fun planning the party and had an even better time at the party. Enjoy!
I
order these adorable personalized birthday t-shirts for the kids. I
also order super hero capes for each kid to take home as a thank you
gift.
Kinley went with a Wonder Woman theme for her outfit.
Making yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut out in super hero shapes.
Capes
and masks for the kiddos. They could choose from Superman, Captain
America, Spiderman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Spidergirl, Batgirl,
Supergirl and Wonder Woman.
When
the guests arrived, I tried to get pictures with the birthday kids ,
guests with their capes on and Captain America. I then included the
picture in their thank you card.
Lots and lots of food!!!
I
got a picture early on and forgot to get another one once everyone got
here. Needless to say, the kids and parents had fun in the pool, nearly
four hours of fun!
Landon and Levi
The
awesome cake that a parent at my school made from a picture that I sent
her of my idea. Not only was it AWESOME but it tasted soooo good!
Colton and Owen.
Ruby and Colton
Jesse, Colton and Max
Colton, Kinley and Jake
We
had Sarah, our swim coach, come over and be the life guard in case some
of the parents didn't want to get in the pool. Here she is having fun
with the kids.
About an hour in, we had the kids get out to sing happy birthday to the kids and enjoy some cake.
An
hour later, we had the kids get out again to open presents. They went
in the pool again afterwards. I'm telling you, the kids couldn't get
enough of swimming.
Both
kids were spoiled with gifts and had such a fun time with their
friends. For weeks afterwards, Colton would tell me that he had so much
fun at his party with his friends, at that is why we do it.
Some of the decorations. I wish I would've gotten "before" pictures instead of all of these "after" pictures.
I had this poster specially made for Kinley.
As well as for Colton.
The welcome sign.
The
"before" picture would've shown several hero bags, all different,
Avengers cups with each kids name on it and a book to choose from.
Every kid needs to be a super hero in their underoos, right?
