May Randoms

The following pictures are some random ones from May, 2014.  Enjoy!

Eric was given a recognition award from the district for helping with the new court program.  The kids and I surprised him and showed up for the ceremony!

My handsome hubby!

Colton all dressed up for Pirate Day at school.

Saying, "Argh!"

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Utah with my family.  Here, Grandpa is pointing out some worms in the garden dirt.

.

The grand kids running around and playing.

These kids had so much fun playing!

Eric playing baseball with Logan.

At my mom's grave on Memorial Day.  Kinley went to stand by Mabelle.

Colton and Daddy listening to a story about Grandma Marsha.

Only part of the grand kids at Grandma Marsha's grave. Colton's family (6 kids) weren't able to make it as well as Logan.

Colton and mommy enjoying some time together in the pool.

Sitting on the table while waiting for their well check ups.

Kinley and Colton playing "cashier."

Colton's Preschool Graduation

Colton was so excited for his Preschool Graduation from Merryhill.  I can't express how proud Eric and I are of him and how much he has grown in the last year.  He tells me all the time how much he loved his two teachers, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Zeitlow, but how he can't wait for kindergarten with Mrs. Dahl.  Enjoy!

Kinley photo bombed this picture.  Too cute.

Father and son.

Their teacher came to round up the kids for the ceremony.

Lining up in the back room getting their hats on and ready.

Walking to the stage.

Colton's classmates.  There were only three girls with all those boys!

Saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  He is the tallest in his class, something that I have a feeling will happen more than once.

Sitting up nice and tall.

Has his diploma in hand and getting ready to come see us.

One more picture with his great teachers.

Enjoying his graduation balloons.

Receiving his diploma

Singing a song for the audience.

Muffins with Mom

Colton's preschool had a neat activity for Mother's Day.  Mom's were invited to come have some muffins with their kids and then the kids presented their mothers with a beautiful handmade card.  Enjoy!

Colton and Kinley posing outside of school.

Colton and Mommy selfie.

The handmade envelope that my card was in.  Colton ran out of space for "Mother" and wrote the rest of it above it.  Too cute.

Love the hand print with roses.  This is something that I will treasure.

Colton with Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Zeitlow.  He sure loved having these two as his teacher.

Birthday Party, 2014!!!

Every year I try to incorporate what the kids are into at that time for a birthday theme.  This year we decided to do a joint party and decided to go with the Super Hero theme.  It was a lot of fun planning the party and had an even better time at the party.  Enjoy!

I order these adorable personalized birthday t-shirts for the kids.  I also order super hero capes for each kid to take home as a thank you gift.

Kinley went with a Wonder Woman theme for her outfit.

Making yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut out in super hero shapes.

Capes and masks for the kiddos.  They could choose from Superman, Captain America, Spiderman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Spidergirl, Batgirl, Supergirl and Wonder Woman.

When the guests arrived, I tried to get pictures with the birthday kids , guests with their capes on and Captain America.  I then included the picture in their thank you card.

Lots and lots of food!!!

I got a picture early on and forgot to get another one once everyone got here.  Needless to say, the kids and parents had fun in the pool, nearly four hours of fun!

Landon and Levi

The awesome cake that a parent at my school made from a picture that I sent her of my idea.  Not only was it AWESOME but it tasted soooo good!

Colton, Kinley and Jake

We had Sarah, our swim coach, come over and be the life guard in case some of the parents didn't want to get in the pool.  Here she is having fun with the kids.

About an hour in, we had the kids get out to sing happy birthday to the kids and enjoy some cake.

An hour later, we had the kids get out again to open presents.  They went in the pool again afterwards.  I'm telling you, the kids couldn't get enough of swimming.

Both kids were spoiled with gifts and had such a fun time with their friends.  For weeks afterwards, Colton would tell me that he had so much fun at his party with his friends, at that is why we do it.

Some of the decorations.  I wish I would've gotten "before" pictures instead of all of these "after" pictures.

I had this poster specially made for Kinley.

As well as for Colton.

The welcome sign.

The "before" picture would've shown several hero bags, all different, Avengers cups with each kids name on it and a book to choose from.

Every kid needs to be a super hero in their underoos, right?
