December 6 - 12, 2009

Colton is becoming such a little man. He is growing quickly and does something, almost daily, that amazes us. We are truly lucky to be his parents.

Eric thinks that I went a little overboard with the Santa pj and hat...I think it's darling!

Colton loves anything that he can get his hands on...it then immediately goes in his mouth. Colton was a little confused by the bottom of the water bottle...
12-9-09

what a smartie...he turned it around all by himself.
12-9-09

Colton looks like he wants to say, "See Mommy, I can do it."

Another cute Christmas picture. Too bad this Santa hat was way too tight...Colton has a huge head!

November 29 - December 5, 2009

We started this week still in Indiana. We got home Monday and Colton had a tough time adjusting to the time difference again. We are counting down until Christmastime where we will be traveling to Utah and Florida. Have a great week!

We went to our friends, Matt and Tiff, home to watch the Colts game. They were very thoughtful by giving Colton a gift. Colton opening up his first Christmas present...

Colton got a very cute, always fun, Colts outfit and football.
11-29-09

Last night with Grandpa David (until Christmas)....he sure loves Colton.
11-29-09

Grandpa Dan came to visit and go golfing for a few days. Colton is so lucky to see all of his grandparents as often as he does.

November 22 - 28, 2009

What a fun week we had with Colton. He took his second plane ride (sicker than a dog), had two Thanksgiving dinners and enjoyed time with both Grandparents on Eric's side. He's getting so big....we kept hearing over and over this week what a little man he is! Enjoy!

Colton sitting up perfect with his new Christmas pj's next to his first Christmas tree.
11-22-09

A bath picture to show you how much Colton has grown. He's nearly out of his little bath tub and he loves to play now, splashing water everywhere!
11-23-09

The two best looking guys around! We had planned to take our Christmas family picture this night but when we got to the photographer Colton cried and cried...he had been sick with a nasty cold for over a week and it had finally got into his chest. Needless to say I stayed home the next day and we were a little nervous about our flight that night. He did awesome anyways, even with being the sickest he's ever been!
11-24-09

Colton showing off his Big Boy car seat....this thing is HUGE! This was right before we took off for a three-hour plane ride. What a great traveler we have.
11-25-09

Thanksgiving day was spent with Grandma and Grandpa Schrage and Grandma Barb's side of the family. This is a four generation picture with Colton, Eric, Barb and Grandma Wedeking, who is 92 years old!
11-26-09

Colton was completely tuckered out by his first Thanksgiving! He fell asleep on the short car ride to the hotel and stayed asleep even after we got him out of the car. He's bundled up pretty good due to the cold, cold weather in Indy. Needless to say, he hasn't had the opportunity to wear either his new coat or beanie in Vegas.
11-26-09

Colton enjoying Daddy at Dave and Buster's!
11-27-09

Everytime we come to Indy we meet up with Eric's oldest friend (since he was 3), Mikey, at Dave and Buster's. We had great food, awesome company, and then played fun games til our hearts content and until we had enough tickets to buy our boy more Colt's gear (last picture).

On Saturday we headed to Logansport for our second Thanksgiving dinner, this time with Grandma and Grandpa Gant and their whole family. Uncle Andy came in from LA and couldn't wait to see his adorable newphew :).
11-28-09

Eric has three cousins who all had babies from one to three months of Colton. Colton is the only boy so fo course he flirted like crazy with each of them. This cutie is five weeks older than Colton and couldn't stop smiling at him (it went both ways)!
11-28-09

This is Colt's country, here in Indiana. We found this cute pj at JCPenny and couldn't resist it. The other Colts gear are the prizes we bought with all of the tickets we won at Dave and Buster's. What a great trip this was!

November 15 - 21, 2009

Colton started this week by getting a cold. He started to feel better by the end of the week only to get even sicker a few days later...poor guy! We are headed to Indy for Thanksgiving...lots of pictures to come. Have a wonderful holiday everyone!

11-20-09

Hmm, I wonder where he gets that from?

November 8 - 14, 2009

What a fun week we had with Colton. We had Wednesday off for Veterans day and of course Colton woke up at his normal time...6:00 am! He woke us up not by crying or whining, but by talking and looking straight into his monitor. I went and got him and put him between Eric and I in bed. He promptly went back to sleep until 7:30! What a great kid we have! Colton turned 6 months old on Friday. It's amazing how time flies when you're having fun! We finally bought Colton his new car seat on Saturday. It's so much bigger! But he'll be in it for a long time (pictures to come). Enjoy!

11-12-09

Colton is into touching anything and everything! This night he got a hold of Buster. At first, Buster let him pet his hair...
11-12-09

...Colton then decides to pull Buster's hair instead of pet it. This gets Busters attention immediately :).
11-12-09

Some of our friends had a birthday party that we went to on Friday night. Colton was the hit of the party. He smiled the whole night and charmed all of the ladies!
