Halloween

I start planning for Halloween in July and August.  I like to get their costumes early just to make sure that I get the ones that they want.  This year Kinley decided to be Elsa from the Frozen Fever movie and Colton wanted to be Darth Vader.  Enjoy!

Just like Elsa.  I love how she pops her hip and completely poses for the picture.

Both kids all ready for Kinley's school Halloween extravaganza.

Kinley with one of her teachers, Ms. Mendoza.

The kids at my school's Harvest Festival.

Look who showed up!  Darth Vader with a storm trooper and Empire guards.

We went to a pumpkin patch one night.  The kids clearly had some fun!

Goofing around and being photo bombed by Daddy.

Most of my staff dresses up for Halloween....I love it!

Colton with Ms. Marimberga.

I'm lucky that I am able to have a somewhat flexible schedule and are able to go to Kinley's school events.

At her Halloween party, the kids did crafts, opened a pinata and had lunch.

Kinley and two besties, Abby and Anora.

Back to school and ready for Colton's parade.

A panoramic look at the parade.  Each class comes outside and parades around the parents who are in a circle on the inside.  Because we live in Vegas, the weather is always gorgeous this time of year and even hot for most of the kids in big costumes.

Colton's 1st grade class.  He is on the bottom far left.

His class had fun making some ghoulish food items.

Kinley had cheer that night and coach said that they could come in their costume, if they could stunt in it.  She couldn't stunt in her Elsa dress so we got out her Colt's cheerleading uniform and she wore that instead, pretty fitting.

All the tinies.

My dad, brother Jeff and nephew Logan, came for a short visit over Halloween, Logan had a baseball tournament in town.  Enjoying the beautiful weather.

Ah, how this girl reminds me of me!  Here she is "laying out" on her towel.  Don't mind that we have two nice lounge chairs on the other side of the pool.  Nope, she wanted to be by the action of the hot tub, just in case she missed something.

The kids had fun playing Halloween bingo.

Time to carve the pumpkins.

The kids all ready to go trick or treating.

September Randoms

September was just as busy as ever.  We hit up a 51's game, Kinley started cheerleading and the Leatherwood Grandparents came for a short visit.  Enjoy!

My school got free tickets to the Las Vegas 51's game.  It was the first game for both kiddos.  Fun times!

A lady was face painting kids for free!

Pretty girl.

All ready for cheer practice....this girl prides herself on being matched to the hilt!

Time for stunts!

Grandpa Dan and Grandma Ruby came in for a quick trip in September for Grandparents Day.  Kinley's school had fun activities as well as breakfast for grandparents.

They then came to Schorr and brought Colton lunch!

Colton started Scouts this year and is a Tiger.

We took the kids to the KISS mini glow in the dark golf.

This picture shows our kids personalities to a T.  Colton is smiling and doing what he thinks he is suppose to and Miss Kinley is sticking out her tongue and a little sassy!

Having fun with the huge guitar.

Dancing with the crazy robotic KISS.

Colton next to another big guitar.

On the final hole, the ball had to go up the tongue.

Daddy helping Kinley out.

Playing around in Target.

Singing and dancing with her favorite, One Direction.

Time to dress up like a Superhero for cheer.

Colton's scouts went to Pump it Up for a night of fun.

Everyone had a great time.

When I saw this picture of Kinley from her preschool pictures, it reminded me of one of my preschool pictures.  On the left is me at 4 and on the right is Kinley at 4.  Funny how they still use, basically, the same props.

What a doll.

She looks so grown up!

Kinley will randomly ask me to take her picture because she really likes her outfit.

We went with some friends to the movies to see Hotel Transylvania 2.
