October 25 - 31, 2009

This week was a fun one....Colton went to Disneyland for the first time! We took lots of pictures. Enjoy!

We had just arrived at our hotel and Colton was wide awake...it's 10 pm and he normally goes to bed between 7:30 or 8:00 pm. He must be excited to be at Disneyland!

Colton has a fascination with paper....he loves to crinkle it, rip it, play with it. We had butcher paper on our tables so that the characters could come by and sign it....Colton had a blast with it.

October 18 - 24, 2009

Colton's teething is in full swing. I can feel some sharp edges on his top gums. Hopefully he will cut some teeth soon. He is pretty normal throughout the day but gets a little crankier than normal at night. Amazingly, he still sleeps straight through the night and goes to sleep without any problem. This next week will be a milestone in Colton's life (too bad he won't remember it :) Disneyland!! Lots of pictures to come!

I noticed Colton had flipped 180 degrees in his bed. I thought he was still asleep as I snapped this picture, it was only 6 am! Surprise! He was wide awake and a little startled by the bright flash :).

October 11 - 17, 2009

Colton turned 5 moths this week and is getting so BIG! He now only wears clothes that are 9 months and up. Colton is definitely teething right now. He's a tad crankier than normal, especially at night and is constantly running a low grade fever. We think he will be popping a tooth any day now. Enjoy the pictures.

Some friends of our, the Silva's, came to visit us with their 2 year old son. We went to a place in Vegas called Springs Preserves. I've lived here nearly 9 years and have never been. It was awesome and I can see Colton enjoying it much more when he can walk around. They had it all decked out for Halloween, hence the scary ghost above.

October 4 - 10, 2009

The weather finally started to cool down this week...to the chilly 70's :), hence the warmer clothes. Grandpa Dan came to visit us and we had a great time at Colton's first pumpkin patch excursion. Being with Grandpa made us even more excited for two weeks from now when we get to see all of the Leatherwood clan in Disneyland. Have a great week!
